David sought refuge by hiding in caves in the Dead Sea area when Saul sought to take his life. Some of the Psalms were written from the caves. David was not a perfect man or perfect leader. His years as a cave man, humbled and crumpled in the dark, developed a legendary king, and forged a legacy that still lives today.

How should we respond? Instead of cowering in fear, we should live in faith, supernatural faith. We have available to us a God-given faith that will see us through the most difficult of circumstances.
